Our local Legend Stuart Webster is raising money for - Both parents matter Please support our Stuart and donate what you can here's some information: "Cycling around the Southwest Peninsula in 10 days for Both Parents Matter". The route begins in Exminster, Devon, which is where I've lived for over twenty years, and heads east along the South Devon coast, before heading north through the easternmost points of Devon and Somerset, and then on to the northernmost point of Somerset. From there it follows the north coast of the Southwest Peninsula coast all the way down to Land’s End before returning along the south coast back to Exminster. The total distance is almost 700 miles (1100 km) with total elevation gain equivalent to climbing Everest almost twice. I will start the ride on Friday 17th April 2026 and aim to finish on the afternoon of Sunday 26th April 2026, with several of the Bikes 'n' Beers group joining me for the last few miles and the obligatory BnB pub visit, which will be to my village local, The Royal Oak.

Cheeky Tuesdays at the Oak! Free play pool all day 50p off cask ales 2 for £14.49 on our pub classics menu Also out meat raffle is shaping up nicely again this month, dont miss out, £1 a ticket 🍖
